#khandyaltop is a table like top which gives complete view of #gurezvalley .

On one side , lies the #dawar village , #habbakhatoon peak whereas on another side is #khandyal village with #kishangangariver reservoir. The Back is Dotted with #pinetrees

0n the top is a small shack where u can enjoy momos, Maggi, tea and coffee with sunrise or #sunset.

We visited #khandyaltopgurez in the evening.

Although best time is morning when sun-rays lit up the tip of the peaks and then slowly whole of the valley.

Every morning in the #gurezvalley , the first thing she wanted to do was sit by #kishangangariver , throw pebbles in it, pick up twigs from the river and then doodle with it some random things on the riverbed..

I used to stand there- Observing and thinking..is this some sort of sukoon or does she even know now what sukoon is ?? 🤔

Is it just a game for her or is she trying to do something which probably we are not able to understand.

All we could understand was happiness lies in little things.

She was extremely happy in doing her little things and we were happy seeing her smiling.

She is growing up too fast!! We are surely gonna miss all this.

We never expected this #adventerous #ride !

It was actually a hell of ride from #srinagar to #gurezvalley (#dawar ) via #razdanpass . The high altitude pass at 11,672 ft was completely white and had just open few days back!!

There were black ice and slush patches but the drive was worth experiencing and memorable . It truly proves “Journey is beautiful than #destination !!

Here are same facts about it…
.
✅ #kaligandaki gorge is the deepest gorge
✅ It separates #dhaulagiri peaks from #annapurna
✅ The vertical distance from tip of Dhaulagiri to riverbed is 5.5 km (isn’t that huge???)
✅ This is usually missed on the way, but if you know it then you will find it, near Ghassa Village. Walk this suspension bridge to see how deep it is

✅Accommodation - Basic. Room starts from 1500 Nepali Rupees - 3500 Nepali Rupee ; excluding food
